Hmm… ternyata PCMAV 2.0 yang ditunggu-tunggu, gagal diluncurkan di akhir tahun ini. Penyebabnya pengujian PCMAV 2.0 belum final. PCMAV 2.0 akan diuji sampai tahap Alpha 3 dan baru akan diluncurkan ke publik sebagai versi beta setelah alpha 3 final. Sebagai informasi saat ini PCMAV baru pada versi Alpha 2.
PCMedia edisi 1/2009 pihak PCMedia meluncurkan versi 1.9.1 sebagai penerus PCMAV 1.9.0. Di versi 1.9.1 ini PCMAV mampu mengenali 2.445 virus, dan ditambah Update Build 1 sebanyak 8 virus sehingga total virus yang dikenali menjadi 2. 453 virus.
YANG BARU DI PCMAV 1.9.1
- Ditambahkan, database pengenal dan pembersih 96 virus lokal/asing/varian baru yang dilaporkan menyebar di Indonesia. Total 2445 virus beserta variannya yang banyak beredar di Indonesia telah dikenal di versi 1.91 ini oleh engine internal PCMAV.
- Ditambahkan, cleaner khusus untuk virus Hatred.
- Diperbaiki, bug floating-point pada rutin AutoUpdate yang pada beberapa kondisi menyebabkan PCMAV tidak mendeteksi adanya update.
- Diperbaiki, kesalahan deteksi (false alarm) heuristik pada beberapa program dan script.
- Diperbarui, perubahan beberapa nama virus mengikuti varian baru yang ditemukan.
- Perbaikan beberapa minor bug dan improvisasi kode internal untuk memastikan bahwa PCMAV Cleaner & PCMAV RealTime Protector lebih dari sekadar antivirus biasa.

aku udah downlod realtime protector 1.91 n udah run tapi setelah mau scan real time cleaner timbul kotak n katanya rekomendasinya sistem harus diturn off,kok gitu!terus kalo mau run ikonnya ngak keluar,udah klik 2kali tapi ngak bisa,tetap aja ikonnya kayak map,mohon petunjuk.
dah di donlot tp kok file rar ya? aku buka pake total commander ga bs….gmana dong?
